Introduction:

Through television or TV, we encounter advertisements about beauty, gadgets, and other necessary things for living. Television also serves as an entertainment depending on what shows they are into, like for men, they prefer watching on the sport channel while women prefer watching soap operas and or cliché movies that they can relate to. Television also gives information for those people who are curious about the recent news that are happening or had happened locally or around the globe, they also give information about the current rates and celebrity gossips. Through the years, there are a lot of people who enjoy watching television (TV) and because of the new technology every year, a lot of new ideas started to pop out that provides improvement to some shows and more variety of shows has been created and one of them is the Cartoon Shows also known as the Animated Shows.

During the year 1950’s, everyone saw the beginning of children’s programs, as what they used to call Cartoon Shows those days. The one that drew large audiences during those years are Captain Kangaroo and The Mickey Mouse Club. There are also some puppet shows such as Kukla, Fran & Ollie and The Howdy Doody Show that was being shown on the television. Cable television gave birth to the children’s network such as Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network that are still popular nowadays. One of the most successful children’s programs until now is the PBS’s Sesame Street, which helps kids to learn everything about words and numbers.

Cartoon Shows or Animated Shows have been a part of everyone’s life, whether the person in the stage of childhood or adulthood, everybody can still watch them whenever they want.
