The Economist Intelligence Unit (EUI) provides information on more than 150 countries, including cultural, political, economic trends, and economic forecasts (“EIU Data services”, 2013). The goal of the unit is to provide unbiased material by the best analytical minds in the world. Integrity is one of the core values of the EUI. By using the EUI country database, one can find the quantitate data of the GDP, fiscal, and monetary indicators, demographics, debt, and external trade on any country. A business can find the country’s political climate with the qualitative information found in this source written by experts in economic field. By having both qualitative and quantitative data on the country, a business can make sound decisions on the viability of investing resources in a country by asking questions.
