Evolution

This documentary was extremely interesting and remarkable. Evolution is a very interesting topic in which I knew about but not completely understood. This documentary made me comprehend things in depth. Something I found truly intriguing is the evolutionary history of the largest living animals in the planet, whales. Whales are so different from any other mammals. Scientists believe that whales had evolved from land mammals and that maybe they were even four legged animals once. It’s amazing how many animals and plants have changed due to evolution. Scientist categorized these animals as tetrapods, which was a development from animals that lived under water to progressing animals living on land such as amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals, any animal with four- footed animal. This of course, took a great amount of time to occur. Animals began to have distinctive characteristics as well as adaptations. Nursing somewhat needs to know about this because humans and slowly changing and they need to figure out why and how exactly the change is. This what the most interesting topic for me because there is just so much information that you seem to learn about something new every time you research something about it. Evolution is one of those areas in science that you learn at an early age. Elementary should begin introducing the theme in order for young children to begin grasping the concept since it is such a complicated topic. In high school, teachers should make sure to make students fully understand the concept and even learn the topic in dept. This is a very relevant topic due to the fact that people have to know the conception of evolution to understand why life of earth changes the way it does and how animals can evolve even further.
