Medcat Application

I have wanted to go into the medical field for as long as I can remember. My parents, brother, and the majority of my extended family are all a part of the medical field. I have always heard the stories of strange cases coming into the hospital, or the sad deaths and diseases that my family sees every day going to work. They say that even though it is sometimes hard, they all love their jobs and can’t see themselves doing anything else. I want to be like that when I get older. When I think of the future, I see myself happily working as a physician assistant and making an impact on other people’s lives daily. I have always had a yearning for helping people as much as I possibly can, and to think of going to work every day to do just that excites me.

I want to do everything I can to one day become a physician assistant, and I feel as though the MedCaT academy can help me achieve this goal. I want to be able to go into this field knowing as much about healthcare as I can, to further my understanding and ability to aid patients. At the MedCaT academy, I will learn more about health and the healthcare field, and it will help me go further in my journey.

MedCaT will also help me get into the college of my choice. Not only that, but it will help me in my future health care classes and I will go into them with an obtained knowledge from my MedCaT experience. The allied health classes that I am currently taking are teaching me more and more about health, and I would love to learn as much as I can.

Reading about the MedCaT academy and talking to people who have attended the week-long experience, I have learned that it is a lot of fun as well as being a great learning experience. If I get in, I am especially looking forward to meeting new people my age from other schools around the state and making new friends.
