SUBJECT:: COVERED AND CONCEALED IN THE SECRET PLACE!
We live in a time when uncertainties are the only certainties. We don’t know what is going to be the headline from one
day to the next. What crazy event or calamity is going to be on the news. What tragedy will happen next. It seems as
if we are raising a generation of terrorist. Are we on the verge of war, or just simply pandemonium, chaos, anarchy.
There are no rules, no standards, just everybody doing what is right in their own eyes. There are so many things in life
that we just don’t understand. There are some things that we must know if we are to be sane in an insane world. I’ve
discovered that there’s power in staying close to God and every now and then we must re-evaluate our relationship with
Him. Our relationship with God. Not with Church, or organization or ministries or even this prayer call but we must
examine where we are with God. I’ve got to stay close. The Scripture says, “He that abides in the secret place of the
most high...” – that’s close. Are you that intimate with God. Is there a real and true relationship? Here is principle # 1.
If you stay close enough – God will cover you. In other Words - God’s Got you Covered!
I. GOD’S GOT YOU COVERED! (Vss 1, 2)
With all the tragedy, death, loss of life and disappointment, even in our local news today, it is amazing to me that most
folk don’t call on God until something happens. We need God everyday, every hour, every minute and every moment
because God takes care of His children. You’re a child of God and no matter what the enemy does you are in protective
custody – with God. He is our refuge and our strength, our fortress. God is our point of reference. He’s the only one I
can run to when I get in trouble and be certain that I’m safe from all hurt, harm and danger. People will fail and
disappoint but God never fails. I’m going to run to God when the enemy is plotting against me, trying to destroy me. I’ve
