The Important Things in Life

It’s the year 2014 and it’s the middle of December. This December has been a tough one indeed for the Drag Family. Tyler Drag is a Senior Accountant at one of the largest public Accounting firms and has been working towards the promotion of his life. For years he has worked his way up the hierarchy and has just one more step up the ladder to become a Partner. His wife Katrina Drag is a stay at home mother who cares for their 9 year old son Alex.

Tyler was a lower middle class boy from the Philadelphia. His Mother Kate was the kindest most honest woman who didn’t have a mean bone in her body. Her biggest flaw was her lack of ability to judge character in other people. She married Tyler’s Father who to say the least had many flaws. He had an addictive personality, he would gamble, drink, and do drugs. He was not the most loyal of people either. He would be unfaithful and screw other girls because she was pregnant and couldn’t stand the sight of her at times. But she loved him all the same because he would say the right things but couldn’t be counted on when it came down to it. Eventually his gambling and other habits led him into debt and brought his wife into it. Once Tyler was born he saw the responsibilities of being a father and husband piling up and he saw opening to get out and he took it leaving Kate with enough debt for a life time and a newborn baby.

Kate raised Tyler to the best of her abilities, gave him good morals to live by and a drive to be successful. She put Tyler in school where he would begin to flourish. Tyler was a great student he would thrive in classes and was a great people person everyone liked him. Tyler possessed a talent very rare for kids his age. He had impeccable memory and could see a mathematics problem and solve it in less than thirty second in his head no matter the problem.
