一．生活美语第一课

1. That’s cool!

（1）用于表示对其他人的认同。

（2）Are you cool with that? 你觉得这样子好不好？

（3）He is a cool guy. 他这个人很好。

2. Neat!

（1）和cool 差不多

（2）neat/cool stuff 很棒的/新奇的东西

3. Good for you!

（1）真替你高兴

（2）=good to hear

4. That’s great!

（1）比good更强烈

（2）有可能是反语

5. Wonderful！

（1）比great更强烈

（2）可以用 I’m good/great/wonderful.

6. Incredible!

（1）太难以置信了

（2）语气比wonderful更强烈，但一般不用I’m incredible.

7. The movie is terrific.

（1）terrific用于表达太棒了的意思

（2）还可以说 You look terrific/fabulous today.

8. Awesome！

（1）wonderful, terrific, fabulous, awesome, excellent都可以替换

9. She is so pretty!

（1）pretty还可以用于称赞精彩表演 That’s pretty.

（2）pretty, beautiful, gorgeous程度不一样。Gorgeous还可以形容美男。

二．抱怨

1. Our team sucks.

（1）suck是动词，指很烂很差 Hey, you suck!

（2）形容词sucky. Today is very sucky. Everything sucks!

2. I am sick and tired of doing homework.

（1）sick and tired of sth 对…表示厌烦

（2）I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.

3. I am terrible/ horrible.

（1）形容很糟糕

（2）可以用于食物 The food is terrible here.

4. turn-on/turn-off

（1）turn-on是喜欢的东西，turn-off是不喜欢的东西

（2）She is a turn-on. The movie is a turn-off

（3）可以当成动词用 The movie totally turns me off.

5. You scared/frightened me!

（1）还可以用 I’m scared/frightened.

6. You are so mean.

7. He is shaky. 他不太可靠

三．常用问句

1. How are you doing? How are you? How is going?

2. What’s up? 什么事

3. Could you do me a favor?

4. What do you do? What do you do for living?你做什么工作的？

5. Where are you heading/going?

6. How come?怎么会这样？

7. You wanna go to see a movie?

8. Anybody needs a fork?

四．校园生活

1. Today is a tough day for me.

2. Which department is she in?

六．水电

1. The power is off/gone. 停电了（不用electricity）

2. The power is back.

3.Please turn off the power.

4.Please leave the power on when you leave.让电一直开着

5. The power/water is running low. …快用完了。

6.I was shocked.

7.I am running the bath water.放洗澡水

8.I need to take some water.

9. How much do you pay for the utilities every month？...
