“I lived in a land called paraiso....” this is how we picture our native land Philippines where we were born, grew up the land that we respect and care for the land will always be in our heart, and we’ll never forget ‘till our last breath. This is a place where we offer our greatest achievements in life and honors we got.This land is a place full of unforgettable traditions and culture that we inherited from our forefathers. Our forefathers that fought for the freedom of our country, they fought bravely from the invasion of Spain, Japan, China and America. A sad past that conveys us on what we are now.

“The opposite of a problem would likely be the correct solution”, this quoation engaged me to a deep reflection. This quoation from Joey Lawsin only proves that a single or even multiple problem is not a reason to give up, like what happened to the Philippines. Different disasters such earthquake and super typhoons hit us but, we Filipinos just smile and think of a solution to overcome this.

It’s more fun in the Philippines because we have values and we have respect to other people unlike in other countries. Filipinos wear lovely smiles on their faces even there are many problems they face in their life and also even in disaster they won’t forget to smile that’s what you called Filipino spirit thats why I’m so amaze to my fellow countrymen. They say it’s just a typhoon, we’re Filipinos and God will never let us down.

Philippines is a nation where giving and sharing is present at all people, each one share all things they had and give some help to all needy. Sometimes I feel guilty on what I have done like wasting my time sitting in the front of laptop playing my gadgets, and relaxing like a boss. Other people don’t experience that way, I mean to say that most of the Filipinos are contented enough to fulfill their happiness with the use of simple things.
