The Disposal of Tailings Is a Symbol of Sustainable Development

The utilization of tailings is the embodiment of environmental protection. At present, the comprehensive utilization of tailings resources can be summarized as the following ways:

(1)First of all, the comprehensive recovery of useful tailing components should be treated seriously. Adopt the advanced technology and reasonable process of the tailings recovery machine for the re-election of tailings to maximize the recovery of useful components in tailings, which can further reduce the number of tailings. Some concentrating factories can try to move to the direction of no tailings, namely in the design of ore plan, pick out the composition of ores, coal mines equipment for sale so that the tail mineral volume is almost zero.

(2) Use the tailings as the filler in the gob of underground mining. If the tailing is used as filler in the gob, the ideal filling technology is full tailings, but it is still in the stage of experimental study. In the actual production, the coarse tailings are always used as fillers. The tailings will be transferred to the classification section after being discharged, and the coarse part will be sent to the underground gob, whereas the fine-grained part into the tailings stockpiling. The tailing disposal methods have been used at home and abroad, which is a kind of mature tailings disposal method.

(3) Use tailings as building materials. It is the preferred materials for making cement, tile, concrete, rock phosphate grinders stone, refractory, glass, ceramic, concrete aggregate, slag glass ceramics and foam materials.

(4) Use tailings to build highways, produce pavement materials, nonslip materials and coastal land.
