Bing.com is a search portal created by the Microsoft Corporation in 2009. I chose Bing.com as my portal website example because it is the search portal that I use the most besides Google. I am also personally impressed with the pictures that Bing’s search engine returns. Often times, Bing.com will give me better image results than Google.com

News

espn.go.com/

Espn.go.com is a sports news website associated with the ESPN news network. I chose espn.go.com as my news website example because I visit the site frequently for all of my sports information. I am often times not at home and espn.go.com is a good way for me to keep up with sports news without having to watch the ESPN television channel.

Informational

www.wikipedia.org/

Wikipedia.org is a popular internet encyclopedia site that was launched in 2001. I chose Wikipedia.org as my informational website example because it is personally I good way for me to get familiar with rudimentary information about topics that I am not familiar with. I usually use Wikipedia as a starting point to get acquainted with information that I know nothing about.

Business/marketing

www.amazon.com/‎

Amazon.com is an international e-commerce website that went online in 1995. I chose Amazon.com as my business website example because it is a very good way to buy products for a very reasonable price. In particular, buying school textbooks from amazon.com is a lot more economically feasible than buying them from the school store.

Kotaku.com is a video game/technology focused blog. I chose kotaku.com as my blog website example because it is a good way to get information about new technology and videogames. I am an avid videogame player and the Kotaku.com website is very informative as well as entertaining.
