Abstract

Don Willetts is the owner of a small health foods products business and is interested in adding new product lines. Then the reader is asked to place themselves in the role of a business owner that produces a line of grape based antioxidant products and pills. Over time, the company forms a business relationship with Don and he begins placing increasing orders for product. The scenario includes that your 17 year old son who is a part-time deliveryman for the company signed a contract with Don Willetts guaranteeing him a price schedule consistent with the prices he had become accustomed to paying. Don and your son never made any mention of this contract so you have no knowledge it exists. Shortly, after this contract was signed by your minor son, there was a newspaper article praising the qualities of your products so demand and prices for the product soared. A new company is offering double the previous price however they are seeking an output contract.

After this surge in demand, you notify Don of the situation and suggest alternate suppliers for the product. Don became angry and insisted that your company should continue to supply him at the prices he had been paying.
