Shoulda Would Coulda

Film opens with a male college student sitting lazily on a chair his back to a wall, waiting for something, he looks impatient but calm. The title “Should Would Coulda” appears above him. A middle-aged woman is sitting across him, a secretary. A desk separating them, typing away on a computer.

Secretary: Iho, makahintay ka ba? 20 minutes pa bago makabalik yung Head.

The male student nods and smiles as he responds.

Boy: Okay lang po.

The male student continues to wait, his right foot tapping nervously on the floor but his upper body calm. He looks around the room, observing random objects.

A phone on the desk rings and the secretary answers it.

Secretary: Ngayon na po? Ah sige po.

The secretary logs her computer out before standing up and checking the desk and herself, talking to the male student as she does so she talks to the student.

Secretary: Iho, may puntahan lang ako, maghintay ka pa rin para kay sir? Mag-isa ka lang dito.

Boy: Ah okay po.

The male student then interacts with his smart phone as the secretary leaves the room, but bumps into a female student at the door. The female student talks with the secretary for a few moments, their conversation inaudible. The secretary then points to a chair next to the male student before letting the female student through and leaving the room.

The male student continues fiddling with his phone, glancing at the female student’s shoes as she walks across him before seating a chair apart from the male student. He continues paying no attention to her as the female student grabs her phone from her handbag, getting her earphones and putting them into her ears and plugging them into her . phone. She then grabs a notebook, opens it, sets it on her lap and starts studying, her hair falling down and covering her face.

The male student then finally returns the smartphone to his pocket, glancing at the female student for a few moments before...
