How to submit an assignment

You will receive an email when you have assignments to submit.

You must

Upload both an

1. Upload the assignment

2. Upload the turnitin report (not yet applicable to students of UTE)

3. Submit the assignment before the end of the due date

Tip

Ensure the file is smaller than 10MB - help and advice is available

Step-by-step guide

• Click the link within the email which will look similar to below

• Once you Click on the email you will be directed to the web services online assignment submission website.

• Login with your user id and password

• Click the Attach Files button

• Attach the files

• Click Attach

• Once you have attached the files Click Submit Assignment

You can view the status of assignments using the dashboard view.

Setting up the student dashboard

The following is not compulsory you can submit an assignment as soon as you receive an email however to use the full features of the system it is beneficial to set up your dashboard.

The dashboard shows the following :-

A calendar showing dates assignments are due

ASSIGNMENT DUE TO BE SUBMITTED

ASSIGMENTS SUBMITTED

ASSIGNMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN MARKED

Step-by-step guide

• Login to webservices.sunderland.ac.uk

• Click Dashboards / Manage Dashboards [pic]

• Click search on the left of the screen and then click the  search button

• Click the * icon next to the text 'FBL - Student Dashboard' to mark this as a favourite

• Click the words 'FBL - Student Dashboard' to view the Student Dashboard
