The final test 25% will have 2 parts:

Part 1, 30 multiple choice questions -------------------30

Part 2, Case study with 2 questions --------------------20

1. In part 2, the case is short and is of similar format as the cases in the textbook. We might even use some of that cases. Your team project, and sessions that we had should greatly help you in case analysis. It is mostly a matter of looking at the information provided in the case, and answer questions with concepts covered in class and the book.

2.- Go trough our power points to determine the main topics in the course material, then check the details in the textbook. Remember that the power points are only an outline of what is contained in the different chapters. You still need to read the book, especially tables, bolded material and main sub-headings. In fact, much information is repeated in several chapters.

3. Review the logical methodology used to conduct a foreign Market Research study,

including how to begin the study, and what logical sequence market researchers should

follow to get what is needed.

4. Review how marketers go about to obtain information needed, including sources, factors to consider, and methodology.

5. study the kinds of data used to develop a “picture” of a country, considered as a potential market, including both “Macro” and “Micro” info. For this, do an overview of your report # 2

6. Look at how companies organize the handling of information in general, and more specifically market information, in order to have it ready for decision-making. Look for chapters in the textbook that satisfy these kinds of needs.

8. Think about the kinds of statistical/probability measurements that you can use to estimate the dimensions of potential markets, including size of market, and other...
