My advice to the freshmen this year is don’t get in the wrong crowd. That would be the first thing on list because hanging out with the wrong crowd doesn’t just affect you in classes but also in who you are. Be yourself most importantly if you like something that you know that isn’t “cool” to the rest of your peers, who cares what they think you go on and do it. Speaking of cool, Cardinal Pride. Freshmen’s are the least people that show it off why? Because you are still stuck in middle school and think it’s a joke. This is the mainly part of high school, showing off your high school spirit, wearing school colors even supporting CUHS sports teams. Get involved! Join a sport just try it out, you don’t know what you’re good at until you try out. If you’re not a sports person then join clubs. There are lots of clubs here in corning high that you can’t just say no because they’re just as fun as playing in a sport. I’m telling you now don’t be shy this year, if I were in your shoes I would have been more involved and go to Rally’s because I’ve never went to one ever in my Freshmen year, because I would think they’re were dumb and not have a purpose to be going to. That’s mostly what I regret, but it’s not so late for you guys do something differently if you were a trouble maker back in middle school then change that now! Respect your teachers, they’re your teachers not your siblings. Teachers are there to help you and educate you. Those are the people that you can ask for help anytime. There’s also your Consular that can you help and also if it isn’t such as big as the problem then don’t be intimidate ask us Seniors, even if you don’t know a specific thing here on the campus come to one of us anytime and we’ll guide you to it.
