THE MIRACLE WORKER

In my own perspective, the movie is entitled Miracle worker because teacher Annie is like an Angel sent from above. Teacher Annie made a miracle because of her hard work and dedication. Her eagerness made everything possible. Helen was both Blind and deaf but teacher Annie taught her on how to Communicate. Helen learned a lot from her. The Keller’s almost gave up on Helen thinking that she was already hopeless but teacher Annie also made the family members realize that Helen was not Hopeless and she could learn. If the teacher of Helen was not as patient as teacher Annie maybe the teacher would easily give up. Teacher Annie’s passion and love for Helen changed everything. With teacher Annie’s help Helen was able to grow up like other children: learning,

The characters in the story are Helen, Teacher Annie, Captain Arthur Keller, Katherine Keller and James Keller. Helen was a child with deafness and blindness, her family thought that she’s helpless at first she was very aggressive and violent especially when it comes to Teacher Annie. She even locked teacher Annie in a room and teacher Annie in order to go out of the room was fetched by Captain Keller in the window, Teacher Annie was the teacher hired by the Kellers to teach Helen. She is very patient even if at times when Helen doesn’t follow her loss her temper and become Harsh. She observed Helen at first. She gave Helen a doll with the same features as the human face (a doll with eyes, nose, lips because Helen’s old doll has blank space). Teacher Annie didn’t give up on Helen because it seems like she would be giving up on herself too. She was the only one who can argue with Captain Keller and made him realize that he is losing his heart. Captain Arthur Keller was the Father of Helen. He is someone who is very strict. He almost gave up on Helen and he didn’t believe Teacher Annie could do something to her daughter. I think this person doesn’t want...
