Generally the gender issues has been increased in different studies have been taken to include particular locations in which gender is constructed,expressed,practiced and experienced.As Low and Lawrence Zuniga put it.These locales that cultures invest with gendered means make sex-differentiates that produce gender relation of power and authority

There are three dimensional construction of gendered space from social space which are physical gendered space such as locales,sites and setting.These include houses,churches and school building.Secondly,mental gendered space includes words,myths,songs.painting,literaly work and other form of communication.Thirdly,the lived gendered space includes realexperiences of individuals who encounter various gendered physical practices and gender mental representation.These dimentional spaces led the gender to be constructed,contested and experienced

In next section,I focus on the musical life history of Jennifer mgendi who is the fomous female musician of ‘’Muziki wa Injili’’ in Dar es Salaam and examine the conditions that made her to become successful musian.

During conversation with her .i tried to think her narartive with transgression of gengered space which she borrowed the phrase from Nkiru Nzwegu [1998].I begin by guoting Jennifer Mendi’s history as she told me during my interview with her.
