Essay 2: Final

Facebook is the most well known social networking website in the world. People all around the globe are hypnotized by it’s capability to communicate with family members and friends who are thousands of miles away. Facebook is stunning but it can be a huge threat to many relationships and those who are just embarking in one. Users can damage their relationship by uploading photos, committing infidelity with online strangers and snooping.

Uploading photos on Facebook can be regretful. Individuals would often upload embarrassing, insulting, and unnecessary photos of themselves or others. Eventually your boyfriend/girlfriend will look on your page and see those dreadful pictures of you doing unspeakable things. It’s impressive how one careless picture can wreck a perfect relationship. Honestly, I can not comprehend why there are so many negligent human beings out there. They likely assume it’s just a slip up that can be fixed by pressing the delete button. I wish it was that simple, anything that you delete does not go away that easy. It’s preserved in the world wide web forever so that it can be searched up over and over again. Consider taking your time imagining what can go wrong if you upload a photo. It can save your relationship or haunt for the rest of your life.

Committing infidelity with a hidden face can be quite risky. For instance Facebook recently developed a way for you to flirt with unfamiliar people called the poke. Sawchuck “n.d” stated “ The poke feature-a virtual way to let someone know you are thinking about him or her without actually saying anything and it is another way Facebook can promote infidelity”. I literally believe that poking is just to attract someone. It’s obvious that poking a friend or a stranger leads up to chatting and cheating. Without a doubt the poke would actually create quite a temper in your partner if you do not keep alert.
