Introduction

In any business no matter what industry market or country you are in and for a company to be better than its competitors it needs to have competitive advantages, which help the company stand out compared to its competitors, if a company has many competitive advantages then it will most probably be the choice of all the customers in that specific market.

So in order for your business to be successful you must supply a product or services in a way the betters your competitors, whether it be cheaper prices or better quality, the business needs to be unique or else you will be like your competitors.

Also it is very important that the company knows how it wants to get its products or services into the market and also it is very important to make sure that the business is running as best as possible.

1) Novotel’s competitive advantages.

This company is in the hotel business and this business is very popular among travellers as people are always on the move and when they are away from home they need a home away from home, where they can relax and get a good night’s sleep.

A competitive advantage that the company has is they use the layout of the entrance to make clients feel welcome and happy to be there they way in which they design the hotel was (Thomas and Wilson,2008), so that they clients walk straight in the hotel and it takes them to the main floor which is the bar restaurant and reception the three most important factors in the mind of the travellers and that is, food, drink and a room to sleep in, the advantage benefits the clients because...
