A) With E-Commerce and Internet customers have the option of making their orders online at any point in time. There are specific shop timings to affect the sales of the product but this does not apply after the inception of E-Commerce. This advancement in technology of the internet definitely helps in reducing the bullwhip effect in the supply chain, since the upstream stages of the supply chain can plan ahead, and suppliers can have an idea of the changes in customer demand for a product due to analytics that can determine trends.

B) Express delivery options helps in reducing the lead-times associated in each of the stages that are associated with the supply chain. Suppliers are able to ship inventory items at a faster rate to the manufacturers, and manufacturers can ship items faster from the warehouses to the retailers. Express Delivery options are able to reduce the bullwhip effect significantly, which provides an opportunity for the parties involved in the supply chain to plan well and execute effectively.

C) Collaborative forecasts helps in attainment of global optimization of the supply chain through sharing information to all parties involved in the supply chain. This helps in sharing the risk involved across the supply chain, and will help in proper planning, maintenance of inventory, reduction of in lead-times, and transportation and variability which would end up reducing the bullwhip effect in the supply chain.

D) Everyday low pricing is when the customers buy products on a regular basis so that the price can be reduced for the periods in the future. In order to achieve this, there is a minimum requirement of information sharing from the retailer to the manufacturer, so that the manufacturer is able to estimates the demand in the retail store, and to make agreements to replenish the goods themselves.
