The BizConnect portal brings utilities closer to their commercial and industrial customers by making it vastly easier to communicate and collaborate. BizConnect lets the utility deliver information, usage alerts and ad hoc notifications to its biggest customers, while providing those C&I users with tools to analyze usage, manage utility costs, reduce risk and even make better operational decisions.

The big difference between BizConnect and other solutions is the ability for both the utility and the portal users to 'make it theirs'. The utility can dictate the branding and set up the system to suit its customers. That means configuration choices for display of meter notifications, weather, rates or environmental impact. On the customer side, users set up their own IDs, create their own meter names and groups and add their own information to the utility data, then tailor the default dashboards and reports to their own needs. They also use the system to share information on energy conservation measures and their financial benefit.
