Executive Summary

This essay will mention a famous and educational business dispute: the war between Tencent and Qihoo. Then, I will identify these two possible solutions for this business dispute based on my interview of two related experts. The methodology I used Internet to acquire my information and statistics as well as to accomplish my research will also be introduced. In light of my findings, I will make a discussion to analyze the two solutions and a similar case. Through the discussion, I thought the second solution is reasonable and it can make some contributions to consumers and companies. In conclusion, these research findings reveal the refinement of law modification and experience of case related to monopoly.

1.1 State the objectives of the research

In this research, I am going to investigate a business dispute, which is the war between Tencent and Qihoo. I hope this research can give me some experience when I face the business dispute related to monopoly.

This dispute happened in 2010. At that time, Tencent dominated the area of ISM service, which is famous for its software named QQ.
