Abstract

During the course of this paper I will be describing workforce diversity, going in-depth about sexual orientation, women in the business world and ethnic backgrounds. Also I will be explaining equal employment opportunity and how immigrants, employees with disabilities, and older workers are affected. Lastly I will talk about the impact of both diversity and equal opportunity has on the workplace, how it affect the workforce, the laws that where brought about because of the discrimination within the workplace and what affirmative action means to the workforce.

Citations

Source material must be documented in the body of the paper by citing the authors and dates of the sources. The full source citation will appear in the list of references that follows the body of the paper. When the names of the authors of a source are part of the formal structure of the sentence, the year of the publication appears in parenthesis following the identification of the authors, for example, Smith (2001).
