This graded Discussion activity is scored at 100 points. Review the following document for grading guidelines:

There are a few differences between the FAA and EASA certification requirements. EASA certified mechanics have different certification levels for specific types of maintenance they are authorized to perform. The EASA also requires a specific license type to return aircraft to service once the maintenance is completed. The similarities between the two are someone can be certified to work on airframe, power plant or airframe and power plant under the FAA and the EASA issues multiple levels of certification. The EASA has more stringent guidelines for certification requirements. Being familiar with EASA guidelines would be helpful, but if your technicians are all operating under FAA regulations it would not be a big factor.
