Bullying is a serious problem that occurs in various places all over the world. Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort. Bullying can take the form of physical contact, words or more subtle actions. The bullied individual typically has trouble defending him or herself and does nothing to cause the bullying. Bullying has had a major effect on children, teenagers, and sometimes-even adults, through its destructive and abusive nature. Bullying has been known to causes long-term negative psychological effects that usually cannot be treated without therapy. In some cases, even psychological therapy cannot repair the physical and metal damage created by bullying. In cases like this, victims of bullying have chose to take their own lives to getaway from the bullying that they are currently facing. It is beneficial for those around a victim and bully to recognize that bullying is taking place, so that the situation can be addressed before the victim’s life is in danger. Yet, with the Internet and other technology, it has become harder to control bullying and protect victims from it.

When speaking about the bullies themselves it is important to know that there is no one distinct behavior that all bullies share. Bullying can consist of numerous different types of behaviors. The three main types of bullying behavior are physical, verbal, and cyber bullying. Physical bullying is any type of bullying that hurts a victim’s body or damages their belongings. Usually in most cases, physical bullying is not the first form of bullying that a victim will be involved in. Most of the time bullying will begin in a lower form and will graduate into physical bullying. In physical Bullying, the bully uses his or her body as a threat to their victim.
