* African Americans can be like any other race group and have a bad economic, social and political standing. However African Americans had a higher job loss along with lower income. African Americans are having issues finding jobs. Reidenbach (2015), “African Americans and Hispanics had higher unemployment, lower household income and wages, and higher poverty rates” (para.1). The social standings of African Americans is quite surprising. African American’s see themselves as middle class. Which I can see because there are a lot of rich African Americans but I fear there is more poor. I feel there is more lower class African Americans because of their economical stage and lack of available jobs. Even though our president of the United States is black, African American’s have lost confidence in their own race for political leaders.
