Introduction

The Square can be used by just about anyone! Dylan Love, the average Joe, accepted $905 worth of sales through his Square in just a matter of two weeks. Love said it could not have been any simpler. Although this product and service is pretty simple, people may still be confused as to what The Square is. Therefore, before one can make a sale of this product/service to a company, one must understand what The Square product is and what the service provides. The Square is a financial service that also is used as a mobile payment company based in San Francisco, California. Square services were first originated by two men named Jack Dorsey and Jim Mckelyey in the year of 2009. The app and service was first launched in the year of 2010. Even though Square services is a different organization, the product is produced by/sponsored by Apple which serves as a new form of accepting money; i.e.-credit card acceptor. The Square attaches to any form of an Apple mobile product such as iPhones, iPads and/or an iTouch. After attachment, one then has to register for the Square app which requires the handler to set up an account and pass a basic in-app background check. Once that is finished, the service is ready to be used and sales are ready to be made for the company.
