Dear Members of the Student Exchange Committee,

With this letter, I would like to take the opportunity to apply to the 2016-1st semester International Student Exchange Program at IÉSEG Lille, France. Throughout this letter I will introduce myself, explain my motivation for applying to this program, this country and this specific university.

My name is Sasha Hernández, I am 20 years old and I am currently attending the third year of the Business Management degree at Universidad del Pacífico. I am a responsible and proactive person, hungry for success and with high standards of personal performance, and I always give the best of myself. One demonstration of this is the academic excellence I constantly look for, as represented in the outstanding grades that I have obtained throughout all my life and that have kept me in the top tenth percentile of the school. Great part of my motivation is the importance I give to my future professional development; and this is the reason why I try to make the most of every opportunity that life gives me to constantly improve myself in every possible aspect.

I would like to be part of this International Student Exchange Program because I believe it would guide me in my personal growth, by helping me develop culturally, professionally and personally.

In terms of intercultural development, this program would give me the opportunity to get a broader understanding of the world. The constant interaction with people from different cultures would enable me not only to learn about the different traditions and insights from all around the world, but to acquire a wider perspective and more flexibility about the various mentalities and opinions. In this regard, this experience would make me more open-minded and would enrich my personal insights.
