SET UP

- Be fully prepared 1 hour prior to interview start time

- Study interview log prior to interview to learn names and pr’s

- Copies of position description in hand

- Clipboards and applications

- Pens

- Music playing

- Pictures slideshow

- Desk set up

o Rope / leather / junk knives / penny / petite carver / cutting board

o All american, blue book, company directory, qpr, training manual

WELCOME

- Firm Handshake with Eye Contact: “Hi, my name is James Ashby... How did you hear about us?”

- Give Application and Position Description

o (Smaller groups  give position description after application is complete)

o “Go ahead and fill out this quick application. When you’re done with that, I’ll have you read

the position description before taking you back for your initial pre-screening”

PRE-SCREENING

- This is a quick pre-screening interview to make sure you’re qualified for the position.

- If everything goes well, I’ll invite you to stay for the main interview, which begins in about 15 min

- REVIEW APPLICATION:

o How did you hear about the job? (Name drop high schools and PRs)

o What are you looking for in a job? ($$$, Exp, Resume, Flex, Environment, Advancement)

o Would you consider yourself a positive person?

o Do you enjoy working w/ people?
