Introduction

Starbucks Corporation was founded in year 1971 as it started its first coffee store in Seattle, Washington.

Starbucks chains have spread across the United States, China, Canada, Japan and in the United Kingdom. Following on the early nineties, it expanded its first store in California attracting consumers with their specialty heritage blend of coffee.

Rivaling up against other coffee companies, Starbucks has 15,000 stores spreading across 50 countries and has built its reputation of being the world’s premier roasted and retailer of their very own specialty heritage coffee. (Starbucks Heritage, 2015)

And throughout the years since its origin, Starbucks has differentiated itself from other brands where its company mission statement strives to build a place for conversation and a sense of community amongst people for networking.

With its consistent successful business strategy, Starbucks offer a wide variety of hot and cold beverages for its coffee and tea connoisseurs. Its signature coffee, ranging from whole-bean coffee and micro ground instant coffee, aims to exude the rich and aromatic texture in every blend.

In addition, Starbucks also has a wide offering of dine-in or take-away pre-packaged food items to be accompanied with their drinks.

Lastly, in lined with the expansion of the business, Starbucks enthusiast can start to own some Starbucks collectibles i.e. their in-house signature design of cups and tumblers.

As according to research report online, CEO of Starbuck’s Coffee Company Howard Schultz was famously known as being strongly outspoken in political view involvement in Washington politics and social issues.

In 2013, Mr Howard Schultz set up a petition site online and at stores to gather voluntary customers and allowing American people to voice out their dis-satisfaction regarding U.S. debt issues.
