HEALTHCARE ENGINEERING SERVICES

The Healthcare Engineering Services team plays effective supporting role in coordinating investment and maintenance of medical equipment for KPJ Hospitals. Embedding safety, reliability and relentless support to promote cost effective investment and usage of every single piece of medical equipment, the services also managing, coordinating thousands of activities per calendar year in Preventive and Corrective maintenance exercise throughout the group – all in accordance to specific manufacturers’ recommendations and in tandem with international safety standards.

With over 25 personnel group-wide, the team members comprising a pool of dedicated Biomedical personnel with wealthy of experience in the Biomedical engineering and management services, currently managing medical equipment full life cycle ‘from-cradle-to-grave’ for more than 10,000 pieces of registered medical equipment, technically involve from the first day of planning, purchases, delivery, installations, commissioning, operation and maintenance, until decommissioning stages.

In tandem with continuous and effective investment on state-of-the-art equipment, and synchronizing with expanding growing numbers of KPJ Hospitals, the continuous and relentless support from the Services is essential in ensuring the Safety, Reliability and promoting Cost effectiveness to every piece of medical equipment investment across a wide range of disciplines and services throughout the Group.
