Most organizations will tell you they know what good management and leadership looks like and will be able to identify people with skills and qualities they admire. They may also tell you they know that good management makes a real difference to the business performance, but not every business that claims to know what good management and leadership are actually do. this report tells us that there is a great distinction between management and leadership and the roles they both play in the different organizations where they are implemented. our report has been gathered from five different sources explaining the differences between management and leadership and also how they may relate or work hand in hand.

in conclusion, we can see that the report has outlined the differences between management and leadership and also drawn inferences on them from the above listed sources. we can now say that management ensures that things get done in the organization while leadership allows the business to achieve its goals by setting a direction for the employees to follow and inspiring them to make right decisions for the benefits of the business. moreover, some of the sources used link to one another such as the article and the textbook extract where the textbook extract says that skilled leadership allows motivation of employees which then allows higher productivity and efficiency relating from the article. lastly, we will like to say that from our sources, we have concluded that leadership is more of an important role than a manager in any business organization, leaders are more like mentors to the employees and they help motivate the employees.
