Taking Your Dog to Work

A decade ago, Pet Sitters International started “Take Your Dog to Work Day” in United States. Dogs are alike people. When dogs stay at home alone, they would feel lonely. As said, dogs are one of the best friends to human. They are loyal to people; they sometimes assist people, like trained dogs; they always wait for their owners be back home when they are stay alone at home. According to a table on caninejournal, dogs usually live up to around 15 years, Chihuahua may live near 17 years.(caninejournal.com) Image that, can a person accompany with others a whole life, probably not, but dogs can. In this case, people should treat dogs better, the first thing is not letting them always stay alone at home. So I hope company can approve my request that dogs can be brought to our office.

As stated, the friendship between dog and man dates back to 15,000 years. The dogs were originated from a common ancestor. They followed man throughout his migrations in East Asia. (dogvacay.com) Many years passed by, dogs are still with human.

I know there exists some problems need to be considered when dogs are brought to workplace. At first, dogs may affect workers if they bark sometimes. Before bring the workplace, dogs can be treated. At home, when dogs are barking all the time, people would turn the back and ignore. Once they stop barking, then owners can praise him and give them some reward. After a few time, dogs can stop barking by getting a treat when they try to bark in the workplace. Second, if dogs are not clean enough, the workplace may smell bad. In order to not let it happen, company can set some rules. For example, if an employee wants to bring dogs to the workplace, he or she would keep his or her pet clean, at least taking shower to dogs every two weeks. If the dog is still smelling bad, company can forbid his or her right, which brings dogs to the workplace. So if a person wants to do it, he or she would mostly keep dog clean. Another...
