Course Description

This course combines theoretical and practical aspects of doing business in the global market. It addresses the complex environment of international business and the need to investigate its various economic, social, political, cultural and legal dimensions from conceptual, methodological and applications’ perspectives. It then considers how these environmental factors would affect, and can be integrated into, business programs and strategies.

Course Objectives

The basic objective of this class is to facilitate your understanding of the nature, structure, and distinct characteristics of international business. Further, through case studies and group projects, the course should develop your ability to adapt business strategies to specific international market needs and constraints.

Course Prerequisites

This course is open to students who have completed MGT 301, MKT 301, and FIN 301. Any student who has not completed the prerequisites needs to get consent of the instructor in order to remain in class.
