Introduction

Today, one of the hot issues about technology is about electronic devices. Electronic devices had a different kind such as android phones, tablets, laptops and computers. This technology had a significant part of student’s everyday lives. The big questions are, in what way this technological devices affect the academic performance of the respondents.

We all knew that everything had its good and the bad effects. We can see, hear and read it in television, magazine, newspaper and radio. The technological devices specially the android phones and tablets had a good and bad effects to the learning in terms of their academic performance.

There’s a big change in terms of how children spend their time to learn and just to make fun and play. Since we were child we can hear to our parents and grandparents story on how they used to spend their time way back when they were a child just like us. They always say that they always play outside like the traditional games like patintero, piko, Chinese garter, tagu-taguan etc. But now there’s a big change in terms on how the modern children spend their time to study and play. We all knew that every now and then the children of this age used to play on their own home holding their gadgets like android phones, laptop and others.

There’s a big factor on how these electronic devices affect the academic performance of each pupil. There are so many studies showing the good and bad effects of the electronic devices that we need to give more attention because it is very important to us as a future teacher to monitor and give solution to this kind of problems.

As a present student in college we need to inform others the positive and negative effects of this electronic devices to the academic performance of each learning. Everything have its own time and place to use them.
