Broadway Cafe

Due to the increases in technology over the past few decades Broadway Cafe must also adapt and increase their E-Business. I have several ideas to improve e-business and develop the Broadway Cafe Name.

It is important to improve the technological management system at the cafe. Benefits from increasing overall technological management system is to store recipes for employees, include popularity, how often in a day should a product be produced, and shelf life. Having this information on a computerized system will decrease waste and improve time to prepare products.

Implementing or improving a customer relationship management system will help maintain current customers and attract new ones. A few ideas that other large chains use are a rewards program that stores information on customer spending at cafe, offering bonuses or promotions to provide incentives to new customers. Not only does this benefit employees, it provides the cafe with information about their consumers, which will help them adapt or increase products offered. Also with the rewards program, you would be able to store information about individual customer’s preferences, and peak times for business, etc.

The most important improvement that cafe needs implement with E-Business is introducing a highly interactive website for employees. The menu should include helpful information for customers, such as current menu, specials, and scheduled events such as children corner on Thursdays, or live readings. Also providing an online forum where customers can give reviews or comments would be beneficial for customers because they would feel valued by the cafe, and the cafe benefits from their comments. Another addition they could add to the website which is popular with alot of restaurants is allowing customers to place orders online. This would be appreciated by companies that come in and order coffees for their offices, and it would probably decrease wait times for employees coming...
