Through the course of our existence as humans, we have learned to have an internal source of thought that determines overall what decisions we make. Some people look at it as their second person or just plainly talking to themselves. Since we can say that each of us make our own decisions, we can also safely say that the violent thoughts and actions come from our decisions and less on our social influences. This paper is going to go into detail on evidence that proves that both sides do take place in our decision making, but if one side is more important than the other, it will be addressed. There are also written interviews that took place to get professional opinions on the topic, in hopes to find a professional and logical reasoning to why we do what we do.

When starting this project I believed that biological violence was the bigger part of how we act mainly in the violent manner and the decision to create violence. Knowing what I believed in, made it easier to ask the questions at hand that needed to be answered to say whether or not my thoughts are true or false. So in particular I wanted to ask if biological violence, is it the source of where we get our urges to commit violent acts towards ourselves and others? Or is it more on the sociological side where we learn how to be violent and take roles that we learn from society and reenact them in our lives. Roles such as seeing another man or women being beaten and then think it is ok to act in that manner towards people around you. Another example could be if you live in a bad neighborhood and seeing gangs as a norm and what they normally do which is illegal, then would it be more the influence of the gang that is making you commit these crimes? Or is it more biological and using the excuse of the influence to explain your decisions and actions to others?
