Report This Essay

July 11th 2016 Mumbai, India: Bharatbook.com announces a report on “Fibre Consumption for Technical Textile Production". Despite this, there was an increase in the production of "other synthetic" filament yarns, which rose to its highest level on record, as well as increases in polypropylene staple fibre production and acrylic staple fibre production.

This report includes statistical data and analysis of the Japanese man-made Fibre and Technical Textiles Industry under the following headings: man-made fibre production and consumption in Japan; man-made fibre consumption for technical applications in Japan; and production of technical textiles in Japan. It also includes an outlook for the Japanese technical textile industry, and contains a wealth of recently released data for 2015. Man-made fibre production in Japan declined in 2015 to its second lowest level on record, and production of industrial textile goods fell to its lowest level since 2011.

Despite this, there was an increase in the production of "other synthetic" filament yarns, which rose to its highest level on record, as well as increases in polypropylene staple fibre production and acrylic staple fibre production. Furthermore, production of cellulosic fibre increased, and so did capacity. Other bright spots included a rise in mill consumption of man-made fibre for industrial textile production, a rise in nonwoven fabric production for the fourth consecutive year, and a rise in spunbonded fabric production to a record high.
