The three stripes, it is such a simple design that even a toddler could scribble up. But these are no ordinary stripes. These stripes have such a global brand recognition that speaks volumes of their attitude, passion, and ambition. Adolf Dassler founded the adidas Group a long time ago, back on August 18, 1949. He got the inspiration for the name by using his nicknames “Adi” from Adolf and “Das” from Dassler. Ever since then adidas has strived to become the global leader in the sporting goods industry with brands built on a passion for sports and a sporting lifestyle. 



We are committed to continuously strengthening our brands and products to improve our competitive position.
