Nowadays, the effect of routine in creative be highly debatable, and ideas very from person to person. Some people would claim that routine aid creativity from practice, while the idea of routine kills the passion and hinder the spontaneity is still held by some others. Routine plays an essential role in daily life, such as schedule and practice stuffs. However, creativity might blunder into changeless day. This essay will discuss both sides about this issue, and show some of the positive and negative which can affect creativity from routine.

The positive is that creativity can be triggered by routine. It can enhance the passion for creating things by tapping into the power. First of all, according to Murakami (2011) cited in McGuinness, ‘The repetition itself becomes the important thing; it's a form of mesmerism. I mesmerize myself to reach a deeper state of mind.’ Routine can be a trigger to stimulate the brilliant ideas and move on the deeply state of mind, so that rigidly organize schedule enables help he easier goes into the best state. Secondly, as people proverbs, ‘Practice makes perfect’ are used in a wide range field such as dancing, sport and academic study. As Winstein(2014) found that, between diffident level of violinists ‘scientists found that professionals exhibited higher activity in the auditory cortex ,’ It means routine can accumulation memory in brain which can aids more motivation than normal . Therefore, people’s talent thoughts could be inspired when routine makes practice over and over again in mind.

However, the spontaneity is equally important to creativity, while routine may militate against people's academic study in creativeness action. According to the Horning (2010), work routine is single process, which is dull and restrictive in industrialized age.
