“Renting Verses Home Buying”

Renting an apartment is a much better option than buying a house. The maintenance of an apartment is basically zero percent, without any hassles of cutting the yard, keeping the up keep on the landscaping tidy, and that’s just to only name a few of the many things to consider. Along with those things, if you are trying to save money, in this economy everyone is cutting back and living in an apartment is the best solution. There are many resources for everyone’s financial situation. It is so easy to get an apartment they have low income housing for those that make less, on a budget, or on a fixed income. Apartment renting is a no brainer.

Buying a home comes with so many stipulations, being controlled in your own neighborhood by the Homeowner’s Associations is a bit stressing. Homeowner’s Associations requires that you pay monthly or yearly dues to be a member. A few rules and guidelines include the following. There is a limit per cars at each home, you can’t park or have anyone park on the street in front of your home, you have to keep your grass and landscaping up to parts, and every rule you don’t abide by you will be fined. Now do think this is fair? If you are purchasing a $295,000 home, why pay additional fees for a member where you will be fined for not doing exactly what they want you to do.

When it comes down to making a decision between renting an apartment or buying a home, I would quickly choose an apartment. I am currently renting a, but still my finances are affordable and it is also quite comfortable. My only obligations are rent, car payments and utilities. Everything else is just a want and isn’t necessary, like my cable, phone, and security. When it’s all said and done, you just have to do what is comfortable for you and the better option is renting.
