One of the best ways to improve your writing process is to analyze it from time to time in a writing log. Answer the following question about your writing:

• How do you typically go about preparing for a writing assignment?

At first, I will read the information twice, and make true the meaning. Then I think about the topic, search what I need on the internet or in the books.

• When and where do you best ideas often come to you?

When I was talking the assignment with friends, sometimes fresh news strikes me.

• Where do you usually write? Are you usually alone and in a quiet place, or is there music, conversation, or other sound in the background?

At most time, I prefer to be alone in a quiet place, such as a library, my own bedroom.

• What materials do you use? What do you find most and least helpful about your materials?

Wikipedia is the most useful, and periodicals are not that helpful when information is not relevant.

• What audience do most assignments ask you to address? How much thought do you typically give to your audience?

I address outline to my classmates, I typically give some points to my audience.

• What strategies do you typically use to explore a topic?

I write down some words on the paper, and then try to find out relations and differences between them.

• How do you usually write a first draft? Do you finish in one sitting, or do you prefer to work in sections?

I prefer to work in sections.

• How do you typically revise, and what do you pay most attention to as you revise?

I read the article from beginning to end, pay most attention to grammatical mistakes.

• If you get stuck while writing, what do you usually do to get moving again?

I will have a rest, play games to relax myself.
