The workplace is a thing of beauty. The atmosphere is pleasant and most employees are in a comfort zone. Suddenly because of fiscal strains, the finance department head reduced manpower. The stress level begins to climb as the workload increases. The expectation of the company is to maintain productivity with fewer employees. The corporate knowledge is gone! The finance department’s leadership decides there is a need for a quality-training program. This session will outline a game plan to train the employees in the area of deployed entitlements, basic allowance for housing (BAH), and family separation allowance (FSA).
The company’s problem is simple. The number of employees with adequate
knowledge fell to nearly zero, therefore causing the capable few valuable time
conducting one-on-one training sessions, which do not benefit the entire element.
Time management competent trainers and materials within the element are
paramount in the resolution of the problem. The goal is gradually improve the basic
knowledge of the entry-level employees. The strategy begins by determining the areas
requiring training, acquire detailed training material, and find time in the busy workday
to implement the training. The company’s strategic approach will determine the success
of the program.
The initial stage of the process is to determine the type of training materials
needed. The information needed to enhance this project is in areas of deployed
entitlements, basic allowance for housing and family separation allowance. The
department chose fundamental subjects however, advanced enough to accomplish the
