Egoism

Egoism is a theory of ethics that illustrating the selfishness of human personality. That means the benefit, pleasure, or greatest good are for my self only. Egoism can be presented in three different ways:

Psychological Egoism:

It shows that the humans are motivating for self-interest by nature. But whatever is the universality of that claim there could be some cases proven it is not. In addition for any action there is almost always some benefit to us also if we do not think about the benefit of that action.

For example, if I assist my younger brother to be out of problem, I will be happy. Is that happiness because of a benefit I gain or it is just a result of my action? Although I am not benefited directly, so that case proved the clime fails to distinguish the beneficial consequences of an action from the self-interested motivation.

After all, why would it make me happy to see my brother out of trouble if I didn't already have some previous concern for my brother's best interest? Wouldn't that be altruism?

Ethical Egoism:

It shows every one should always act in his best interest. So if ethical egoism is true, that appears to mean that psychological egoism is false and there would be no point to saying that we have to do what we must do by nature.

But if altruism –unselfishness- is possible, why should it be avoided? Some people believe the egoism is better because society will then be more efficient and this will better serve the interests of all.

In other word I have to act in my own self-interest even if this conflicts with the values and interests of others and simply because that is what I value most....
