Nightingale college of nursing is an educational institution that offers both a Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree in science and nursing. Nightingale is similar to a corporation and is run in a similar fashion. It takes numerous hours of hard labor also managerial guidance and leadership to ensure that this institution is a fruitful one. An interesting fact about Nightingale is that they are the #1 institution for nursing graduates in many states throughout the United States. The following paper analyzes the competency of Nightingale College of Nursing for receiving Baldrige Award application.

Like any growing organization, Nightingale is also facing strategic challenges. The primary challenge is handling the growing number of enrollment, differentiating itself from other nursing colleges, achieving student satisfaction, maintaining financial viability of the organization, support future research and development, recruiting competent workforce, and increasing the intake of male nurses and student belonging the minority communities. Nightingale is one of the most prestigious organizations in the field of science and nursing.
