Lalaalallala Each
team
project
consists
of
teams
reviewing
various
CSR
reporting
standards
(e.g.
the
Global
Reporting
Initiative,
UN
Communicating
on
Progress)
and
the
class
then
creating
their
own
criteria
(CSR
Report
Card)
for
evaluating
a
socially
responsible
company.
Each
team
then
uses
the
class
report
card
and
applies
those
criteria
to
a
specific
company.
Starting
with
an
explanation
of
why
they
chose
that
particular
company
and
industry,
teams
will
be
expected
to
explain
their
criteria
and
how
they
evaluated
the
company
against
them,
and
provide
examples
to
back
up
their
ratings.
Teams
will
be
expected
to
contrast
what
the
company
says
about
their
CSR
efforts
and
the
rating
the
team
gave
them
versus
what
external
sources
may
say
about
the
company’s
CSR
actions.
References
to
external
resources
(media
articles,
CSR
indices,
and
environmental
sites)
are
required
and
should
be
cited
in
the
paper.
The
Paper
should
also
include
a
criticism
of
the
indices.
For
example
a
company
might
argue
that
it
is
listed
in
the
UN
Communicating
on
Progress
when
they
have
just
bought
in
to
a
CSR
project.
The
UN
Communicating
on
Progress
index
does
not
consider
things
such
as
whether
or
not
the
board
was
included
in
the
decision
making
of
a
CSR
project
the
company
is
involved
in.
Be
objective
in
your
report
include,
find
proof
that
the
company
is
involved
and
active
in
being
socially
responsible
or
if
it
just
a
marketing
scheme.
Answer
questions
such
as:--‐
Is
the
company’s
CSR
project
a
cover
or
genuine?
Is
the
Index
adequate
enough
to
judge
which
companies
should
be
listed?
What
other
areas(criterion)
might
be
included
in
the
indices
that
are
missing
now?
You
can
still
use
the
following
criterion
and...
