Introduction

This week continues toward the end of the research to determine the factors that contribute to the cost of sales. Previous research involved explaining the importance of measuring and calculating the cost of sales in a business or company. Team B’s research paper titled "Data Collection” addressed the purpose’s important factors for measuring and collecting data for cost of sales. Four peer reviewed articles were reviewed and it was determined that “Invest in sophisticated data analytics to support inside sales teams that do not travel” (Gessner & Scott, n.d., p. 199) is the effectiveness of inside-sales programs and how newer programs can help create stronger customer relationships, while reducing off sight sales costs is important in maintaining the customer relationships. In this paper, Team B will go more into the statistics of our research.

Informational Details

Data analysis will be used to calculate the measures of central tendency, dispersion, and skew our data. Graphic and tabular techniques like, histograms and a frequency distribution will be used to display descriptive statistical data. Our paper will also discuss the best measures of central tendency and dispersion of our data, based on our histogram. This information will help further our research to our problem statement. Through diligent research from accredited databases, informational articles can be found such as the ones discussed in this paper that will help to educate and inform the reader on proper research techniques to achieve success.
