When I look back at my career so far, I see a definite progression towards my goals. Throughout my life my father’s business formed the backdrop. I keenly observed my father develop his small-scale business, of manufacturing specialized rock for building and construction purposes, into a large sustainable unit with over 250 employees. This gave me early glimpses into leadership and strategy and sowed the seeds of entrepreneurship in me.

To hone my analytical skills and give me a strong technical base, I pursued my undergraduate studies in Engineering. Alongside my studies, in February 2007 I began working as a Sales Supervisor with Hindustan Petroleum (HP) to gain proficiency in business skills and strengthen my fundamentals. My duties included selecting, training and assigning work to support staff; overseeing work procedures; maintaining Quality Assurance documents; coordinating sales strategies; and monitoring the sales budget among other things. Post my engineering, I wanted the experience of working with a reputed multinational, and accepted a position with Wipro as Technical Consultant. Having worked with Wipro for over a year now, I have got tremendous exposure to the vast market potential the world over. The experience has been very inspiring and has renewed my resolve to build my own business.
