A memory that I will always cherish.

To begin with, it was second year high school when our worlds collided, he was neither my classmate because we were from different school nor my neighbour because were from different barangay. We met on Friendster. I’m not sure how we became friends there, either he added me or I was the one who added him. And later on, we became chat mates in yahoo. Meeting him on a situation like that made me think that he’s one of the boys – a typical computer geek and an online games nut. We seldom talk, I remember talking to him only when no one of my closest buddies were online and there was no one else to talk to.

Meanwhile, after two years at my former school, my body began to complain because of heavy projects and pressures coming from my teachers. That’s when I decided to go back to LICS. I came back there as a third year high school student, and it was the worst year in my high school life. I was supposed to be familiar with the environment because I studied there throughout my elementary years but going back there, it was like a new world.

First day of classes, that’s when we hunt cute boys. Actually, my eyes are faster than Google in searching for the cute ones. Then fate started to play games, as my eyes were roaming on every corner of the room, I saw him. It was surprising in a way that he was already a friend to me before, but other than that, nothing seems special to him. He’s the kind of guy that I will not bother to look at. After school, as I go online I confirmed if it was really him, and I was right.

Since I was a transferee and unfortunately, the section wasn’t very welcoming and good at all because most of the girls were mean, war freak, insecure and bratty. I didn’t like them so I really had a very few friends back then, and he was one of those. We loved to talk through phone for hours. There was a time that we started to talk at 7pm and ended up 3 am. I really don’t know why the conversation was way too long...
