Business aim to fulfill human needs and it expects to be rewarded with profits for doing so. Therefore, it also increases the overall use of resources and has an adverse effect on the environment. As population increases constantly, and there is excess the earth’s carrying capacity and existing environmental limits. This caused the environmental issues happened and humanity would like to recover them. Therefore, these issues are reduced but not entirely resolved. So, there should be a change in the current direction of development.

Climate change as one of the main environmental issues that faced by society today. This issue generally caused by human activity through the production and consumption of energy which releases large amounts of greenhouse gases and it has the potential to change the extent and range of ecosystems, increase competition for scarce water resources, change the range and distribution of pests, reduce agricultural productivity, raise sea levels and the intensity of storm events, and impact adversely on human health. Although organization had put their hard effort to reduce the negative impacts during the production, it’s still not enough.

For future direction, environmental committee should place more emphasis on developing long term data collection and management programs that target priority areas to achieve its true potential as a useful diagnostic tool. They should be to provide data interpretation and commentary, using accessible, up-to-date, relevant national data. Besides, the environmental data should be continuously updated and made publicly available on the web. This can be evidence to aware people start to take more attention on the environmental issues nowadays.

The success of future generations and environmental progress will depend on better technologies, knowledge, skills and investment strategies. This enables company to create more values with less impact.
